Turning moments into memories.....

My family has recently moved to the west side of the state and I am no longer available for sessions in Genesee County. I am now located in Grand Haven and have some limited availability. I would love the chance to photograph my existing clients in a new setting! If you would like to visit me here in Grand Haven or if you live in Grand Haven and would like to book a session, please look for the "Contact Me" link above and shoot me an email!

{Boggs Family Session}

Posted on September 21, 2015

“Ask and you shall receive”! I received a text a couple weeks ago asking if I’d be back in town anytime soon and if I would have time to squeeze in a session. As luck would have it, we were heading home that weekend and I had some time available! I have been shooting the Boggs family for years so I’m glad we had a chance to keep up the tradition! They had just a few days to pull their outfits together and, as always, they looked awesome! I can’t say I agree with their final outfit change, however….I tried to trick them into a *thumbs down* for their Michigan State shot but only one of them fell for it. Here are my favorites from their *almost* fall session!

{Grand Haven Pier – Senior Session}

Posted on August 21, 2015

This session was originally scheduled for last night but the weather was very unpredictable. The waves were awesome at the pier but it wasn’t safe for us to venture out for pictures. {L} was visiting from the east side of the state so we rescheduled the pictures for this morning and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful (albeit very bright) day! We strolled out to the beach, took a walk along the pier and then headed downtown. We ended our session with a yummy lunch at the Baker’s Wife! {L} has been traveling the world this summer, I’m glad he found some time to travel to the west side of the state to visit me for his Senior Pictures!! Here are a few of my favorite’s from today’s session!

{Tunnel Park Extended Family Session – Grand Haven}

Posted on August 13, 2015

I am constantly finding new places to visit here in my new home town. The {C} family recommended Tunnel Park so we headed down their for their extended family session. As I’ve mentioned before, I LOVE extended family sessions. I know the thought of them seems stressful and the families usually leave exhausted but it’s worth every minute. I love capturing the interactions between cousins and special moments with nanas and papas. The kiddos had lots of energy and were a little burned out by the end of the session but they were troopers…and so were their parents! Here area few of my favorites from last night’s session!

{Senior Season}

Posted on August 13, 2015

It’s “senior season” and though I’m not officially working, I have been lucky enough to have some friends from back home visit me for a session! Jordan began babysitting my kiddos when she was just 13 years old so it’s hard to believe she’s a high school senior already! She came with lots of outfits, lots of ideas and we had lots of fun! We hit just about every spot in town and paused for a few yummy meals. Jordan has been dancing for about 12 years and has been playing tennis the past few years. She also loves to read and shop so we had to hit up Barnes and Noble and Target for a few pics! Here’s a sneak peek from Jordan’s session

{Grand Haven Extended Family Session}

Posted on August 10, 2015

Ahhh, it felt so good to be *back at it* this week! The {s} family made the trek over from the east side of the state for an extended family session. I know grandma was very happy that they pulled it off! We wandered around Grand Haven and made it to the beach just in time for the sunset. I know it’s hard to imagine that coordinating 12 people for several different shots could be relaxing, but it WAS! We enjoyed the evening and got some great shots! We even got *photobombed*! This is probably my biggest sneak peek to date! Here are just a “few” of my favorites!!

{Settling In}

Posted on February 18, 2015

Well, we’ve been here on the west side for about 6 months now and are settling in nicely. We purchased our home in November and we are loving all of the things Grand Haven has to offer. I am really missing my *job* but I’ve managed to sneak in some time for a few sessions over the past few months. I squeezed in a couple while we were home for the Holidays, a few people came to visit me for a session and I’ve even had a few sessions with some West Siders! My kiddos keep me pretty busy and because my husband travels a lot it’s hard for me to find the time to run a business. I promise I am not giving it up…just need to be more creative with my time! In a perfect world, everyone would want sessions weekdays between 9-2..I’ve got all the time in the world between those hours!! Here’s what’s been keeping my busy over the past few months. Have I mentioned how lucky I am to have the most awesome backdrop here in West Michigan?!!?

{That’s A Wrap!}

We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” — Walt Disney

My family is off on a new adventure and will be moving to the west side of the state this summer. While this means exciting things for my family, it means {Daly Moments Photography} will be moving, as well.

I cannot begin to express what your support has meant to me over the past few years. Each and every one of you have helped me achieve I dream I never even knew I had! Several of you have been with me since the beginning. You had faith in me and helped me grow as a photographer, as a business owner and as a person. Your loyalty, support and encouragement have meant the world to me. You’ve brought me joy and filled a space I did not know was empty. I feel so privileged that you’ve allowed me to watch your families grow. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life and giving me the opportunity to provide your family with memories you can cherish forever. Many of you have become dear friends and it saddens me to leave you.

All weekend and evening sessions are completely booked. If you are interested in a weekday morning session I can make that happen through Mid May.

Once again, thank you for loyalty and support and best wishes for 2014!!
